Interesting backstory, Valen—haha. For me, it was quite the opposite. I wasn’t really sure about their older, more quirky and strange songs like Ring Ding Dong, Lucifer, or Sherlock when I first heard them, but View clicked with me instantly. Probably because, at the time, I was mostly listening to Western music and some Japanese music, and those more experimental tracks were totally new to me. View, on the other hand, had a much more listener-friendly, familiar sound reminiscent of Western songs from that era. I think even objectively, it’s one of SHINee’s most mainstream and radio-friendly singles—just really well made and something that has stood the test of time. Back then, however, it was quite a big shift in sound for them and something new in K-pop as a whole, quite literally cited as one of the first deep house tracks in K-pop, alongside f(x)’s 4 Walls. Also, as others have pointed out, View’s choreography is easy by SHINee standards 😄 Love Sick is a B-side on the same album as View—Odd. You reacted to it. It’s part of the love story trilogy consisting of Replay, Love Sick, and Marry You. If you pay attention, you can see that many of the choreography moves in Love Sick are exactly the same as those in Replay. By the way, you could wrap up the “loose ends” by reacting to the repackages for Odd and 1 of 1: Married to the Music and 1 and 1, respectively. Married to the Music is also one of the remaining Korean singles you skipped over—it’s a fun, slightly spooky, Halloween-like classic.

2025-12-29 12:39:34 +0000 UTCI agree plus the fact that people compliment in profusion despite the poor quality (they can no longer even tell the difference) which does not encourage the industry to make good efforts on the contrary (why get tired if people are happy with the minimum?) :/ I don’t hate on anyone, it’s just that I see the general standard for live performances becoming lower and lower with the passing of time and it's very sad to see :(

2025-12-12 10:33:22 +0000 UTCTwo things, one, we look at the View choreo and think it's difficult (so did the choreographer..) but SHINee consider it their easiest choreographer and they were very confused when they performed it and realized that they're not even breathing hard... second, about the mixing being better, it's because we've had YEARS of barely anyone singing LIVE on those shows that they don't really have people that know how to mix well anymore...
