Answer to a question at the end. It's not that Dannyβs ghost half was evil when he was separated by Vlad. Danny was grieving. Add on all his negative feelings about Vlad and he wanted revenge. Danny as Fenton asked to be separated. Phantom didn't ask for it. Imagine all those negative feelings spiraling through your head as a 14 year old. Grief, guilt, anger, sadness, hatred. Then the man who caused so much greif in the past just pulled you from your body. He wanted Vlad to hurt like he did. Mixing with Plasmius is what corrupted Danny.
