The Swedish Job | Sundance Rejects

Here's the 99% final version of the next Sundance Rejects, which will be released in a couple of days.
This time it's quite different in that it's not a cringe fanfiction, but instead a dramatised recreation of a true story that hasn't been told in full before. The research, script, etc., is all ours.
A couple of editors from the team have been working really hard on this one for the last couple of months and I think it's getting up there into pilot/pitch territory -- but that might just be my bias -- we'll see how it's actually received.
If people really like it then we'll continue on with production of the next one -- the story of Stede Bonnet, a true event also, about a guy who has a mid-life crisis and decides to try to become a 'gentleman pirate'. And if people like that too then we'd like to try our hand at doing something in the style of an original anime.

We are a team of 4-5 now so there's always at least 3 projects on the go.
Should be another In The Quarantine out early next month too. And that's when we're hoping the next main channel is ready as well. But no promises sorry -- production just keeping running into brick walls with the main channels. But it's being worked on.

It was a nice break from COVID news, American Politics, and Youtube Drama (OnlyFans, etc.) that have dominated the news circuits. It is just wild how this played out and I'm shocked I didn't know more about this! It fits very well with the dramatization of the origin story of the Russian shoulder tap for another round of drinks! It highlights how interesting art heists are, especially the people that carry them out.
