Weekly musings... or something like that

Hello everyone!

First off, thank you all for supporting me & I hope that you've continued to enjoy Lu Qi's little adventure!

I've updated early tiers to now better reflect the number of chapters available. It's only the first update of the few more that I'm expecting in the future.

I'm still rather comfortable releasing between 2-3 chapters a day so the current pace shouldn't slow down any time soon.

This was my first time trying to write (officially, at least) the novel in 1st person, so I wasn't entirely confident in navigating all that entails. Luckily, I allowed myself to cheat a bit & have an occasional PoV chapter that allows me to expand upon the world without being tied down to a singular (and quite narrow, thus far) perspective.

It's been a nice challenge, though, to sort of try and balance the two ends. I find that the comedy is much easier to write, but also that action is a bit more complex. Though I want to express it in detail, I find myself kind of limited by Lu Qi's perspective of things--so I can usually only describe what he 'sees' which isn't a lot 'cause, you know, he's kind of weak if you hadn't noticed. Ho ho.

That's why I'll try writing more 'epic' battles scenes from different PoVs (where applicable), and use Lu Qi's PoV to, well, 'hide' things from you a little bit when I have to.

Anyway, this was just me tossing out a few of my thoughts, something I'll try to do on a weekly basis from now on. Here, you can ask me any question you'd like, regardless if it's attached to the book or not, and I'll try and answer them all.

As a bonus, also have a pic of my two new potential recruits--they're new so still afraid of me and they run away when I try to pitch them positions of the editors for a semi-successful novel on RR, but I'm confident in being able to bring them in due time.
