I Think That I'm Falling (1st Instrumental Demo 2016)
Added 2020-08-11 15:53:57 +0000 UTCI really tried to finish this song for "Songs For A Better Future", but I couldn't get past the chorus line. The instrumental (this and a previous longer one) was so powerful it didn't let me move on and figure out the verses or the structure for the song. My goal was to channel George Michael, do something with that flavor in mind.
I worked on it during a week on August 2016 and forgot about it until the 23rd of November 2019 when I suddenly wrote the verses melody lines. The next week I went through some of the lyrics Trevor-John Donovan had sent me until then and built a first draft of it all that I'll share with you soon. I'm not sure I'm fully happy with the final song, the one that's in the album. Maybe after listening to this instrumental for so long something got lost in the way, what do you think?
