Hey,
another week is over and though the update isn't complete yet I've gotten a good chunk of it done.
The last days I've been working on events that lead up to the shown picture. There is still a lot of dialogue writing to be done (as I want the dinner to be a recuring event with changing dialogue) and the day/night cycle for the characters don't work out correctly yet, but I'm on it. Frisha will now go to the dinner twice a week (giving the player a notification when it happens). You can still stop her but I've removed the quest that you would fail if you don't do that and there won't be anything happening at the dinner if the MC isn't there to watch/interfere. This way it is still a time based event but without the need for the player to always have to watch out for it.
I had to replace the whole lightning script of the game.. Even though I thought I fixed the lag at the inn it still happened and there was no other way than to replace it. It took some time but I think it was worth it and the game will now run smoother than before. I've also started working on animations for Frisha and the mayors wife. I still got to work on Bianca's quest and I have also plans for task quests given by Lyvia (captain of the guard). But the main focus is on the story quests and the other things are at the end of my priority list.
So the next days are going to be stressful (but since I've gotten a cold there won't be anything else I'm doing anyway) I will also work over the weekend to get this completed as quick as possible. I hope I can complete the update until the next weekend or earlier. Same as last time I will release a prerelease as soon as I think there are no instant crashes. So those of you who got spare time can look into it and help me find bugs.
