Fun at the river

Hey everyone.

It's the end of the week! Finally time for a breather..
At least a small one.
The bonus scene still needs to be done until monday and I intend to complete it by then.
It's going to take a few more renders this time as Katherin can be found in different locations depending on the day.. So not as easy as it first looks.

But I wanted to use this post also to reflect on the last update.
So first: I completed the part with John's quest which was the most important for me. With that out of the way the main story of the game can now continue and I will add a vote option for that in the next content poll.
But there was also some content that didn't make it into the update. The biggest thing from my point of view is content for Melissa. I really wanted to progress her story, maybe not up to the point where you would have sex with her but at least to a point where you meet with her and Mira and have a bit of jealousy action going on between the two (A first start of a relationship with kissing and stuff). But flashing out her character would have taken time.. A lot more dialogue and going into detail about her motivations. This wouldn't have been possible with the time I had left.
Instead I focussed on Gavina since her story was already in full motion and it made more sense to get some more content for her inside the game. The whole buildup for Melissa was just too much and will probably require an update by itself.
The next thing I really wanted to add was a backstab mechanic that Bianca would teach the MC.. With that I wanted to add the dexterity talent into the stealth mode so that if you try to backstab an enemy a dexterity check determines the outcome. But that would also have required a new scene with Bianca.. After all if she teaches you how to backstab...
Yea had no time for that... Maybe it could come as a bonusscene, but there are already a lot of other good ideas for that in the line. We get it eventually! ;)

This brings us to the 0.4.0.0 update. I counted the votes shortly before this post. If it stays like this the update will be a rework and refine update. Which would be fitting since the last rework update was 0.3.0.0. I've already told you that I want to fix bugs, adjust the combat and rework Tia's images. I also want to add dialogue and a few other things.. But I don't want to make promises that I can't keep, so I'm going to be vague for now.
I will go into more detail next month when I get a grip on how quickly things can be done.

In case you didn't notice: The walkthrough has been updated (see release post) and I've updated the wayfarer release link . There is also a hotfix for the newest bugs in the 0.3.9.0 update, I will reupload a fixed version later today for those who have problems with applying the hotfix.
