Suddenly I became nervous about going to my favorite place.
Ive been harassed there before, by some guy who didn't appreciate me being with a white model. He told me it was for hunting and fishing only and got very aggressive. This was while my knee was still pretty weak early last year. Every time I go there I am afraid I will see him again and have to deal with his hatred.
I haven't shared this story much, but in the current climate, I figure I should. There's always been places i've been leery of going to, but this was never one of them til now.
