Fortunately we find ourselves with Captain ‘Cap’ Bailey, the mission’s only bar back. Although not a real captain, and suspected to have multiple screws loose, you find a nervous solace in his company as the dim red glow of the last fleeting moments of the Martian sunset washes over your Temu emergency habitat. What’s that clicking sound? Can an Earther gun work on Mars? You know Martian death turtles are nocturnal—right? No you can’t use my Kevlar space sleeping bag. Ya whatever. It’s camping in space. The red light would be cool tho!

Obviously the necromancer would be you and we would be their undead golem or whatever. Also could be a modern era for the setting so that the immersion of like some bone filled catacombs isn't necessary. We would just be in some room that would be this necromancer's lab where they work on their undead or maybe in a graveyard.
