All the way through my 7th attempt at college and 20 years living in Minneapolis I drove ~5 hours/320 miles one way to Manitowoc across the entire state of Wisconsin. I moved back 2 years ago after my mom died. I’d do the drives again in a heartbeat for another 20 years if only to see her one more time. You can do it. Do some Cap Bailey business whilst home so at least the mileage and truck expense are tax deductible. 😉

It's a 14 hour drive from Lamar to Panama city, but because of my bladder it takes 18 hours. Traveling alone as a woman is always no fun, but the worst part, (and I mean this respectfully) is driving thru Arkansas. I go down through ravenden, hardy, imboden and all that and those roads can fuck all the way off. No offense. Next time I make that trip is when I'm moving back there.

I'm lucky I don't have a long drive to see my family cos they only live down the road from me! I didn't know anything about pokemon cards before but boy do I know more now after listening to your rambles. Sounds like a great hobby. I miss the plants in the background 😪
