The official English name is a combination of azure (the colour on its back) and ursos, the latin for bear. The original Japanese name, Aoshira, is taken from ιη½ζ©‘/ γγγγγ€γγ°γΏ aoshiratsurubami which basically describes the creature's fur colouration: bright yellow-green, tinged with grey.
