Not sure if you know now, but Steve and Peggy never got married. The video of Peggy was her referring to one of the men Cap saved on his solo rescue mission in WW2, one of them became her husband. Cap and Peggy only shared one kiss before his "death".

They were of the machine he uses to fly. He didn't have one so Cap and Nat had to steal it for him. Think of the Avengers as individuals who are only called on when there is a HUGE threat. Keep in mind only Nat, Cap, and Hawkeye work for S.H.I.E.L.D., everyone else kinda does their own thing.
