Milim is not technically part of the town. She’s just a person who stays there because she’s bored and doesn’t have anything better to do. Having her handle all of their problems without them even trying would make them complacent and attach them to a demon lord in a way that they don’t really intend to be. Predator is limited in a sense. The way I understand it is conscious targets are more difficult and stronger targets are more difficult. So a conscious, “Calamity Class” monster would be more trouble than its worth to try an absorb. Kind of like Pokémon… gotta damage it first 😂

He only used phyical attacks when attempting to resist Rimuru, something the slime body is immune to and just spread onto the surface that hit it. Yes predator is busted, but it still requires Rimuru to fully engulf his target.
