Phrases like “man up” and “don’t be such a pussy” or “grow a pair” are all anti-feelings phrases and were note invented by women. It’s not that women don’t like men showing feelings, it’s when men show feelings in destructive ways (lashing out, moping about, projecting, being dismissive towards others’ feelings but expecting their feelings to be respected). Don’t get me wrong, there are both men and women who don’t like showing feelings, but because the statement was super generalized and said with conviction that it’s women who don’t like men showing feelings, I felt an explanation to clarify that the actual generalization is that society has plenty of practices of suppressing emotions and since society is built off of and is patriarchal, then it makes sense to say that it is men who have promoted not showing feelings.

One time he even said that every single negative circumstance that has ever happened to barry was all him

You Died Thawne now knows he fails and will do something about it and because Cisco and Barry stopped Thawne from killing Dr. Mcgee and Captured him instead of killing her and returning to his timeline he figures out who they are ALOT quicker than the previous Thawne thats why Thawne said Cisco would thank him for his powers so in a way Cisco Helped Thawne and Thawne makes sure Cisco gets his powers because if he doesn't then he wont know he fails and dies so he cant save himself and then he would be erased from existence and He cant just go and kill Barry now cause he knows the Frabic Of Time Is Very Fragile.

2024-06-28 01:35:01 +0000 UTCso don this is where is origin starts, remember reverse flash wanted to kill barry as a child so the flash would't exist because they have been enemies for centuries. thawne told us that in the season 1 finale before he got erased. but he said since he failed, he killed his mom bc that would be worse than him being dead and he wouldn't become the flash, so he murdered nora allen and in doing so he lost his connection to the speed force, because u can probably guess this but barry became the first speedster in the timeline we are in now. the (original) barry that travels back in time stop thawne is the one and only flash and we didn't see how he was created (yet) but obviously we see how it works because thawne created him. so that means in the future of the orignal timeline when he gets older the samethings stil happen for barry to become the flash. (but remember reverse flash wasn't born in the same century thats why he had to protect eddie), but thats why they weren't even enemies yet. so long story short, traveling to the past eobard changed the future and thats why he had to create the flash again so we were already in a parallel timeline. but in season 1 and 2 recently barry keeps changing the future by altering events like stopping the tidal wave (season 1 ep 15) and stoping the immortal man vandel savage (s2 ep9) so thats why eobard showed up early.

2024-06-24 00:29:13 +0000 UTCSo Cisco was able to Save Dr. Mcgee, and it's not that he can't change the future, it's that everything with Thawne is a canon event as it were, meaning Thawne has to do these things for things to stay as they know it, otherwise Cisco, or joe or whomever could be erased from the timeline. So anything to with Thawne or his mother can disrupt the timeline, but saving someone like christine does not.
