when she said "how many terrible things are you going to do to protect me" i understand her pov. becasue from our pov we are on wells side but if the only reason he gives her is "Because Im your father" that would make anyone daughter guilty. (like yeah i would feel safe knowing my father would do anything for me but still) Wells almost got innocent people killed for her she allowed to feel the way she does. Im on Wells side cause i had a wonderful protective (not in a bad way) father but i can understand where jesse comes from even if it does come out whiny and bratty

coming from a daughter that had a Father that would do the same it made me feel safe and I felt pride for my Father that he would do anything for his daughter. Her getting mad at him when shes safe is annoying. Cause u know she would find a way to be mad at him still if he didn't save her. ugh i hate when she get mad at him its so sad (but she is the only one that can keep him in check or talk him down)

I think the way the debate between Jesse and Wells was poorly explained because as far as we know, Wells didn't say who he killed and Jesse I feel wouldn't be so against her dad killing an actual creepy ass like the Turtle. That being said, I felt that Jesse's main concern was her dad's inability to be flexible in his approach and seemed to revel in the act of doing horrible stuff. It isn't as much about what Wells did, but about what he could do and not knowing where he would stop. As some of the comments have said, if Wells had the choice of murdering a bunch of kids or saving his daughter, the glimpse of what we have seen is that he wouldn't hesitate to murder the kids and that's the part that Jesse is upset about.

And the only way to get Flash's speed was to kill turtle and use his wtv. Even tho Turtle was a human being, I'd tell him about Jesus before killing him tho

Which part is naive? I'm not saying that a parent won't or even shouldn't commit acts of violence or crime against another for their child. But regardless, most human being has still have a line of morality and preservation that they wouldn't cross, or at the very least, would feel a sense of questionability or regret if they did choose to cross it.

I feel like Don has a very skewed view on character motivations. Just because you want to protect your daughter doesn't give you free reign to do whatever you want to others for her sake. If I had to drive my daughter somewhere, but couldn't afford a car, should I steal one from someone else? Should I rob a bank so I get the money? When people are usually talking about killing someone to protect a loved one, they are usually talking about killing the person that is actually trying to do them harm. Killing or harming ANY other person in this scenario literally makes no sense. If Wells tried to kill Zoom, then that would have been fine. But that's not what happened. He was intent on harming literally anyone else to get what he needed. If someone kidnapped your kid Don, and said "If you want him back, I want you to blowup a school bus of kindergarteners, " would you do it? I'm going to wager probably not.

You're missing the point with Jesse bein mad at wells, from a fathers perspective, yeah we agree with Wells and we would all do anything for our kid, but that doesn't mean that a kid has to be okay with that, tell me, would you personally be OK if your father killed someone and did evil/bad things for your own good? If you're in your right mind you wouldn't be OK, I know I wouldn't. I would never want my father to do something bad or dark even if it saves my life. I hate how much most TV doesn't give a shit about murder so I appreciate that the flash takes the time to remind us that the act of murdering someone is a stain on the soul. That's Jessie's point and knowing that Harry did it to protect her doesn't make it any easier to know that her dad is a killer
