Time takes time to harden in this verse.. but killing Iris would've been too late for him to avoid the paradox. It had to be that exact moment for his birth to be guaranteed. Any other time would have changed the timeline and could have jeapordised his creation. For somebody as theatrical as a self-proclaimed “God of Speed,” Savitar needed Iris to die after Barry and team flash exhausted all possible ways of saving Iris. Savitar also needed the primary Barry and team flash to “shun” the time-remnant Barry that ultimately became Savitar, which required breaking everyone on that team. This is how I rationalize Savitar’s plan. It has to mentally scar barry to become frustrated enough to create time remnants, so the best way is to do it where everyone can witness it and cant do anything about it

It's not necessarily just losing Iris. You are overlooking the loss of HR therefor giving the gain back of Harry, one of the better minds in the universe which could've altered any number of events down the line. Maybe with Harry being there, who again, is a literal genius, he and Cisco think of a better way to stop Savitar than with time remnants, especially knowing that it doesn't work and that it leads directly to Savitar. There is no direct confirmation on when DeVoe is the timeline without Iris. And we don't know if Harry was part of the team during that time either. Also, in the future where Savitar comes from, Cisco looses his hands, therefor losing Vibe in the fight against Frost. In this, he doesn't. Again another reason they may have found a better way to beat him. Maybe what Cisco said to her about what Savitar would do to her actually changed the future since that's what helped push her to turn on Savitar which we know she never does in that future. Which eventually puts her back on the team which again, may have led to a different way to stop him. All of the individual changes that are made, are made deliberately. Now you're other points about Savitar being easier to beat than they made it with all the different options they had and more dragged out, I don't disagree with. But that point is just flat out wrong in my opinion

Savitar could come up with a way to prevent the speed force bazooka from working he can definitely come up with a way to bypass the power dampener and even if he couldn’t hiding Iris from him would just lead to him attacking everyone else until they give her to him nobody in the show would want that not even Iris herself, they already tried hiding Iris on a different earth as well which Savitar found a way around very easily.

The second HR took Iris's place it cemented a new timeline and shifted it. Savitar would never have existed without a certain seuqence of events to happen in the exact order which he himself causes in a desperate attempt to beat Savitar with time remnants. It was too late to kill Iris because the paradox started to catch up with him.
