She lead the team like she's supposed to and she saved Frost from really becoming a killer and going down the wrong/dark path like the killer frost from earth 2. Which means he's just trash talking and hating Iris in general no matter what she does. Don at this point you're more annoying with you're comments on her than Iris herself and yeah she can be annoying so you do the math.

However, the stigma around stripping is that it is viewed as either inappropriate/volatile, or in some cases with women who say they are feminists but aren’t really, shame others for “stripping for men” and “feeding the patriarchy”. Stripping can be and in some cases is feeding into the patriarchy or male gaze AND it’s not always the case. Again, the reason this episode was not great with its feminist narrative is purely because they didn’t capture how the issue can have multiple layers, answers, and cultural implications.

I’m a woman who believes in strong powerful independent women, but this episode highlighted none of that in a sincere way. I also want to point out that the moments in the show when the females are taking charge in one way or another (this includes Iris), just understand that those moments are true feminist moments and written well. And again, Iris is in charge because no one else was equipped to do so. Team flash needed two superhero’s without Barry, and as Don pointed out, Joe would sorta be lost at the tech stuff, so literally Iris was it. And since it was a six month time gap theoretically, Iris would definitely be well adjusted to the position with that much time going by. Cuz if she was bad at the job after six months, then she actually would be incompetent and team flash would probs be dead. Who knows, she could have sucked ass at the job at the beginning 🤷. Plus let’s be real, there’s no interview that was held for the position lol

Nobody is gonna write a feminism episode as a joke, unless you want angry feminists cancelling you. Just because the episode was bad, doesn't mean they meant for it to be bad. The flash doesn't go downhill after season 4, it goes downhill during season 4 and this episode is a prime example of that.

They made Barry look like a complete idiot specifically to contrast how stupid and uselees MEN are compared to WOMEN. If barry was always like that or at least they made a decision that from now on that is the barry we gonna have for "reasons" then ok, but no, next episode we go back to barry being fully responsible, fully capable, and nobody addresses the fact that he kept saying he is flash and looked/acted like a pig

If message they are trying to portray with this episode is that you should never let feminism run the show then they did great job, otherwise if this is their idea of promoting feminism then its no wonder its failing

Not once until this episode did Barry turn into single digit IQ imbecile that he was in this episode. And i dont care for feminist agenda, but monkeys would write better plot that this pile of vomit. Amunet is very cringy villain as it is and to be introduced in THIS episode is criminally bad for her character. Iris for milionth time flip-flops her character so now she is barging in a meta fight between super villain she knows nothing about and frost she knows is not really a good guy and only reason they come out unscathed is because writers are fucking imbeciles and focus on feminism instead logical narrative, almost as if they are trying to pain a picture that you cant support feminism and be logical in the same time which is irony in its finest. And ok lets say for hundreth of time that they decide to change Iris role in the show, it wouldnt be so bad if she doesnt go back to her useless bitch phase again in the future so i dont see how people can watch this and think "this is fine, its not that bad" without having brain damage and this has nothing to do with feminism, its all about braindead writing. Cecile's daughter was introduced as feminist and it was never an issue and there were episodes that focus on female empowerment before but it was well written and natural. this is just load of bullshit

I like Caitlin, I like Killer Frost, I like Felicity, Cecile and Iris are chill (to me), the club stuff with drunk Barry and the rest of the gang was hilarious, and Amunet's abilities are dope, I mean... yeah I liked the episode, though I do think having Felicity here contributed a fair bit
