2024-08-19 22:57:07 +0000 UTCIt’s not that simple. Germany’s in real life defeat had nothing to do with nuclear bombs, they lost the war before the United States ever detonated an atomic bomb. The only affect nuclear/atomic bombs had in WW2 was against 2 Japanese cities and even before then the United States was steamrolling a bunch of them without the atomic bombs. It’s an exaggeration to say that if Germany created the atomic bomb first that they would’ve won the war and especially one to say that would’ve allowed them to beat the USA. For starters nuclear bombs at the start were just limited to destroying cities not like now where one nuclear bomb could destroy entire states and provinces, so even if Germany had atomic bombs first they would’ve just been able to wipe out cities instantly which isn’t enough to make the United States to surrender. And that’s assuming they could even get the payload over to the United States when in actuality they’d likely be intercepted by American forces before they can reach America. America was able to deliver the payloads to Japan because Japan’s defensive capabilities was already getting plummeted by the United States. Different case scenario here. So in reality even if Germany developed the atom bomb first they wouldn’t be able to do much with it against America if at all and not long after, America would’ve created their own as well leading to a nuclear stalemate just like what happened with the United States and Soviet Union which would’ve probably led to a Cold War between the United States left on its own against a Nazi Germany that in this hypothetical scenario conquered all of Europe. So yeah the United States would realistically survive the aftermath of a Nazi Germany getting what they wanted which was to conquer Europe.

And even if the Nazis won WW2 that means they would’ve taken over Europe because that was their goal but America would’ve stayed safe as it would’ve been much harder to get to and conquer America. Realistically if Germany won WW2 the aftermath would likely consist of three remaining big powers (Germany, Japan, and the United States). Germany and Japan would be trying to find all ways to destroy the United States and vice versa. It would get more complex once nuclear weapons on both sides are at play and the nuclear weapons are devastating enough to end the world. America would may well be the last safe haven in the world if that was the outcome of WW2.

They talked about how the speed force exists outside of time, and how for him it could have been 10,000 years in the speed force. So, when he came out of the speed force his lines were actually comprised of dialogue that he's use in the past. For example, "I'm just not sure I'm like you Oliver." Is what he said to Oliver when he first got his powers and was talking to him about how to be a hero in season 1. Also "We're gonna need more diapers" was a reference to his kids in the comics because he has twins with Iris. So that line is supposed to be something he says in the future. There's other lines too that he will say in future episodes of this very season. They're fun to look out for.
