that fire at the end of the chapter is all because of that big gold headed guy named Elder Jinchi. Wukong and a monk named Tang Sanzang came across his temple before it was burnt down. Said monk had a golden Kasaya with him, and Elder Jinchi really wanted that Kasaya so he asked him if he could borrow it over night and return it in the morning. While he thought the Monkey King and Tang were sleeping he had 2 of his disciples who turned out to be Yaoguais themselves come up with a plan which resulted in them trying to catch fire to the temple the Monkey King resided in so he could keep the Kasaya for himself. Sun Wukong knew something was wrong so he didn't sleep protecting Tang and wafting the flames back in the direction of Jinchis temple starting a raging fire that would take Jinchis life while the two disciples fled and hid in the woods turning back into their true Yaoguai forms. Black Bear Guai saw an opportunity stealing the Kasaya for himself and later rebuilding the temple. Elder Jinchi was consumed by greed turning into a Yaoguai with no eyes due to his materialistic outlook on the world sealed behind 3 bells scattered around Black Wind Mountain because of his obsession with that Kasaya.

2024-08-23 19:56:36 +0000 UTCI heard that Black Myth Wukong is based on Chinese story called "Journey to the West" about a sage that was on a quest with his 3 disciples (one of him was Sun Wukong) to retrieve ancient manuscripts, Dragonball was originally a satirical story that was strongly inspired by The Journey to the West, Son Goku is basically Wukong in comparison, both are monkeys, ride a Kinto (nimbus cloud) and has a staff that can change its length etc..

Tier 3 is whenever I finished the recording/editing process it gets thrown on to that tier and above. Hopefully that helps clear things up
