also, sam was having a panic attack and physically couldn't do anything to help demetri. people give her a lot of flack for it, but she didn't go into that fight thinking tory was going to show up and that was going to happen to her.

you don't necessarily need to see the first two to understand the show, but it does make it more meaningful! the third movie though, i think it's the most important because it explains why daniel reacts the way he does in future seasons! most of his trauma comes from what happened in the events of kk3.
