It’s a little different but the same. I don’t want to talk to him because what is there to talk about? Shits just awkward. Anyways enough about me. Johnny at least goes out of his way to constantly talk to/be there for Robby while he’s still in his teen years, he’s got it good… I put myself in Robby’s shoes now you put yourself in Johnny’s shoes, he had a DIFFICULT situation, think of all the implications for going to see Robby and skipping out of Miguel, his most live changing and vulnerable moment after being begged by his yaya to stay and pray with them. He’s at a lose/lose.

2024-08-31 03:25:01 +0000 UTCjohnny walked away and didn't look back in s1 after his conversation with robby. if he really wanted to fix his relationship with his son he would've been way more persistent. johnny got his feelings hurt and gave up. in s2, he had no other choice but to talk to robby because they ran into each other. i love johnny, but he does the bare minimum for robby, but has no problem doing the most for miguel. and i understand why he does it, miguel gave him hope when he didn't have any, but it doesn't excuse his lack of care for robby either. don isn't glazing robby. he just has empathy for him lol. and robby's feelings are valid despite people thinking he "overreacts" or is "too hard" on his dad. you have to put yourself in his shoes.

2024-08-29 07:52:49 +0000 UTClisten jonny tried to make shit right with Robby in Season 1, he didn’t want it so he backed off, Robby went back and was insecure at the fact jonny hugged miguel for doing something good so he left to do something to piss him off, jonny tried again at the start of season 2 in the repair shop but he didn’t wanna hear it again so he left it, tried again in s2 at the end but Robby fuckdd that up while miguel was the only one to give jonny a chance the entire time, their relationship is what saved jonny whether you accept that or not so obviously Jonny is gonna treat miguel equal to his son, he made him the man he is today so it’s valid, this robby glaze gotta chill
