2024-09-20 17:03:54 +0000 UTCThis episode occurred in an alternate timeline before Barry ever created Flashpoint since these episodes are releasing during the later episodes of season 2 of the Flash. Sara Diggle was still born in 2014 and hadn’t been changed to John Diggle Jr quite yet from Barry’s alterations to the timeline. So this John Diggle Jr is not the actual John Diggle Jr, his birth name is actually Connor Hawke. Sometime after the events of Arrow, John Diggle adopts Bronze Tiger's son Connor Hawke (renaming him John Diggle Jr). In this alternate timeline, Deathstroke's youngest son Grant attacks Star City in 2031 chopping Oliver's arm off and presumably Diggle's head. JDJ feels shame and guilt for not protecting his adoptive dad and switches back to his old name, Connor Hawke. Old Man Oliver mentions that after Rip recruited them, he never saw Ray or Sara again. The Legends use that piece of information to guarantee that future never happens. They go back to 2016 to help Oliver and Barry fight the Dominators and that causes the timeline to shift (with Connor always being Connor and JDJ taking Baby Sara's spot after Flashpoint).
