If you’re like “at this scene this character did this one thing that doesn’t make sense” then you clearly weren’t invested in the show enough to actually enjoy it even if the script was tight and did make sense. It’s very shallow criticism. If you’re actually invested in the characters and the story, you don’t even notice most of this stuff. And if you’re not invested, then that’s a completely different issue. Talk about that.

2024-09-28 04:53:05 +0000 UTCI agree its definitely inconsistent, and I have thought about a lot of stuff he talked about while watching it, but at the end of the day I would rather they had made the show than not, and I just embrace the flaws it has. Kinda like fast and furious. I also did want all his villain's to be speedsters cause its would be the only threat. Also everyone being a speedster to me wouldn't have been bad as long as they made them different so it didn't feel recycled. Savitar, reverse flash and zoom were all great seasons and villians imo.

Almost every adaptation of speedsters have plot holes because it's very difficult to implement. It requires suspension of disbelief. Can the Flash's writing be better? Sure. But you can nitpick anything to find flaws. The earlier seasons were still good despite their flaws but if you dissect everything just for the sake of it, it obviously ruins your enjoyment of them. E.g. the Boys is considered to be much better written but Homelander's punches are so slow even though he can disappear in a split second and travel insanely fast.
