But he never framed anyone or committed any serious felonies except for this case. He shot Malcom because he was probably aware of what was going on and was there because was trying to protect Chloe. When Malcom saw her, Dan shot him before he could shoot her. Malcom caught him when he was following her.

Actually Amenadiel isn’t a real angel or at least in religious texts but for the show wether he is or not he still serves god but he’s doing it only to send lucifer back which god most likely wants by the way if god really wants lucifer to go back to hell then why doesn’t he just do it himself he can literally do it without blinking or why even give the power for lucifer to leave hell?
