I have mixed feelings about the girls’ duel. On one hand, I get that Daniel was prioritizing Tory’s mental health and he feared that her loss was gonna make her do something she was gonna regret… again. On the other hand, I always felt that Johnny might be able to relate to Tory on some level. Growing up, karate was his coping mechanism after he lost his mom. Now it was Tory’s turn. I didn’t hear Daniel or anyone else telling her that she was out of the dojo. She left on her own accord. If she had explained that her aunt Kandace was getting up to her neck for the welfare check and custody over Brandon, they still would’ve found a way to help her. If Cobra Kai is a drug, Tory is relapsing. Now we wait for November 15 if not sooner.
