My thoughts on the council losing their shit on the undercity becoming independent is because they would lose the resources they’d be getting from the fissures unless they pay zaun for them as trade and they also just lose a huge amount of people for labour and land for them to use

2024-11-08 18:08:13 +0000 UTCjayce "hammer" is a hextech machinery at its finest. it is not a gun-hammer it is hammer with arcane runes all around it and its powered with gemstone. gemstone release "magic" via friction or cranking. meaning every time hammer hits someone the gemstone magic happens. And the handle is full of runes that activate by the grasp of his hands. when he twisted the handle and switch the position of runes the different magic activates turning the hammer into projectile shooting weapon and blast are result of magic released by pulling a trigger (the cranking). its perfectly thought out concept and appliance of hextech and gemstones. EDIT: ofc the gauntlets have shield function. Jayce and Viktor originally made them for mining, ofc they will think about function to protect miners from rubble crushing them to death

2024-11-08 17:44:05 +0000 UTC3 has shock value and sets up the tone and 9 is brilliant finalle but at that point you for most part see everything that happened coming (at least from the league player POV). for me the best episode was 7. Ekko's involvement was not teased or hinted which is brilliant move imo as they could have easily just shove his character in our faces to attract Ekko's fans to watch the show. They trusted the quality of show itself instead of using bait tactics and because of that his reveal was that much better. And yes, ever since we saw little man we assumed he is ekko but there is big difference between cameo and hints of something and actually being major part of plot. the fight at the end of ep7 was brilliantly done. it teases players with Ekko's ultimate without breaking immersion of the show (because he doesnt really have said the powers in the show atm at least) yet instead of this tease taking away from the scene (sacrificing writing for sake of pleasing the players) it is actually done in a way that made the scene ten times better. and most importantly, in that fight everything goes because there is no expecations for the outcome. yes episode 3 has huge shocking value as nobody saw it coming (well, league players knew fucked up shit will happen sooner or later because we knew how jinx going to end up but still) but you coming into this fight knowing the mood set up in the show and you still dont know how it ends and it ends both as shocking as ep3 and perfectly well written and believable. For me it is easily episode 7 followed by 9 and then 3 (again, because as league players who know most of the lore at the time we expected shit like this to happen)

2024-11-08 15:47:47 +0000 UTCFor me it's either ep 6 or 7, but between 3 or 9 I like 3 a lot more. Because it kinda set the story and show as one of the best for me. Since every 3 episodes is like a finale for each arc, 3,6 and 9 were very good episodes.
