*important* *no spoilers*Don, I may be over thinking it, but Lucifer lived for millennium being able to know exactly what someone wants most without fail. No one could lie even if they want to, or don't know what they truly desire (subconscious complicated stuff). Now, for the first time, he can't just ask and be guaranteed the truth, and that's probably scary for him because he won't know if it's what she truly desires.

A few videos ago you said you were bad at communicating your emotions and now you’re yelling at the characters not communicating them 😂😂😂 Semi-side note: being afraid of another person’s answer in the instance of relationships and that the answer affects the dynamic of the two makes sense. Asking Chloe why she said yes or Lucifer telling her his feelings both have emotional consequences. Like if he said “I love you” and she said “no” it’s not like they shake hands and say “cool, peace out” ✌🏼. Lucifer would be crushed and hearing that from someone you love does hurt in a different way than if someone said no to getting a coffee
