Btw I used to be a Dub only dude who started watchin anime late and had the same "im not tryna read" logic until I was forced to watch Vinland Saga in Sub cuz they didn't dub it for years. BEST DECSION I COULD'VE MADE. Not hard at all to follow along, the voices not only match the character but the Sub acting in Japanese was sooo amazing that I never been exposed to like that. And when the Vinland Saga dub actually did come I began to understand why alot of Sub ppl hate on some dubs because it wasn't holding a candle to Sub version of Vinland Saga.
