Hence why I believe he hasn’t done it yet since it’s been MONTHS. Otherwise he could’ve easily taken one day to give what they want.

Obliviously inevitably the throne would be lusted after by one of his children. So something that could keep the siblings united as a family needed to be created. Aka, the longing of those siblings bonding over neglected feelings. Otherwise, as a being who “see” all and “knows” this whole situation could’ve been prevented a millennia before now.
