Ep 20: Caroline is a bi*** when it comes to Damon! Comparing an interrupted kiss to what she is trying to push as a romantic school dance date with Stefan is absolute garbage!! Also, ur stuck on a false narrative, you cant help who you are attracted to and feelings develop over time when you bond and spend time together. Elena is at this moment not dating either brother. She has feelings for both and is trying to sort out her feelings to see who she wants to be with (though she is doing so without all the details)! Yes, Esther is just a hypocritical shitty mother who allowed her husband to abuse her children (mostly Klaus) and the without their permission turned them into the monsters they are and judged and hated them for what she did to them! Plus, even if she manages to rid the world of all vampires, there are still werewolves, not to mention the witches ,who pretend to care about the sanctity of human life but will happily kill humans to protect themselves! I mean, she killed one of the doppelganger to use her blood for a spell to benefit her own family! To me, that's worse than a vampire who kills to feed! Again, let's blame Damon for what happened to the "mother" who abandoned Bonnie, as if it was his decision alone! I hate how they always use him (his feelings for Elena) and his willingness to do what they all know needs to be done and then they hate and judge him for it later!

Like they all want Klaus dead, and it was Stefan burning down his life and relationship with the girl he emotionally manipulated and groomed, just to kill Klaus! Damon deserves way better than Elena, in my opinion, but i fail to see how a guy who stalked, lied to, manipulated and groomed is better for Elena. Also, the idea that Elena should be loyal to a guy who basically emotionally conned her into loving him when she was drowning in grief and needed something to cling to that she felt wouldnt die on her (her words about her "love" for Stefan) then left her should be forever faithful to him, and should not have feelings that genuinely sprung up after she healed from her grief is absurd! Also, why do you only shit on the women and call them "for the streets?" You (not as) critical of Caroline when after Matt dumped her, she kissed than later started dating Tyler, yet never had that criticism for Matt when he started dating Caroline, who is the best friend of his ex. And Rose's speech is more saying that Stefan is the safe, yet boring non passionate, mid love is choice, while Damon is the fire inside her and what keeps her excited and passionate for their relationship and life together.

2025-07-31 05:35:07 +0000 UTCngl I am about to fucking rant. The love triangle between Damon, Stefan, and Elena in The Vampire Diaries is frustrating and, frankly, disappointing. Damon, in particular, seems to be repeating history by falling for Elena just as he once fell for Katherine—both of whom not only look identical due to the doppelgänger connection but also claimed to love Stefan. It’s disheartening to see Damon make the same emotional mistake twice, refusing to learn or grow from his past. Stefan, on the other hand, continues to hold on to a relationship with Elena despite knowing that she wants to become human—a reality that ultimately dooms any future they might have together. Their insistence on loving someone who is mortal, fleeting, and tied to their painful past makes little sense. What’s more, Elena’s actions only add fuel to the fire; she claims to love Stefan yet turns around and kisses Damon, his own brother. That level of betrayal shows a lack of emotional clarity on her part. At this point, both Damon and Stefan need to let go of Elena and focus on their bond as brothers. She will eventually grow old and die, while they remain immortal. Instead of clinging to a doomed romance, they should move on and find purpose beyond a love that was never meant to last.

Nah he ain't for the streets because he's funny 😒 What jarrs you about Elena is that she doesn't make interesting TV, but that sounds kinda silly to your subconscious so your subconscious is trying to make up new reasons it wouldn't bother to make up if Elena was a compelling character Don't worry viewers holding different standards for different characters is insanely normal on this show. You aren't the first. You aren't the last. I'm not judging you for falling into a pretty normal standard of experiencing the show. If nobody here has ever been a hypocrite about characters on this show [ INCLUDING PAST TENSE ] they're lying But I think it's time to be honest with yourself that you don't like Elena because her character is basically your everyday "teenage girl" and vampires love her" Sure she has basic empathy. But so is most of the people out and about in real life. Yes she's insanely selfless in willing to die than put her friends at risk but so is Bonnie There's nothing about Elena that makes her COMPELLING. I like Elena the same way I might like any half decent person in real life. But likeable and compelling aren't the same thing and the less compelling the character the easier it is to hold them to a higher standard, because you're also judging characters based on how entertaining they make the show to watch It's a bias. When Don said, “She’s cooked,” I couldn’t stop laughing! 🤣 Then Stefan saying, “I don’t need to know what happened on the trip.” Yeah, that could NEVER be me!! 🫠 The women have been moving mad this season. Caroline disrespected Tyler by keeping the painting and wearing the bracelet and dress Klaus bought her. Bonnie is the only one moving faithfully at this point. I loved the cemetery scene where they said their goodbyes to Alaric. Also loved that Damon was the last to leave — sharing one final bourbon session with his bestie. Klaus saying to his dead mom lying in a casket, 'I dare you to come after me,' is such a Klaus thing to do. 🤣🤣
