Ep 7. Stefan (they hypocritical lying manipulater) was literally being sanctimoniously judgy over a hypothetical (which he made up) of Damon torturing and killing the creepy bad guy professor Shane as he was on his way out with the intention of killing people to make vampires to be killed by Jeremy! When it comes to Damon, Caroline is in the wrong! She never fails to ignore all of Damon's growth and good actions while simultaneously ignoring all of Stefans increasing lies, manipulations and monstrous actions (not just the past, but in the present)!

There are many reasons to hate Elena, but the "reasons" you keep harping on are utter BS! Chris dying was not Elena's fault, it was (perfect) Caroline and Jeremy and Stefan! Especially Stefan! You keep giving him passes and praise for him lies and manipulations (which he has been doing since season 1 episode 1 and has never stopped)! There are alot of subtle cues (not to mention litereal conversations she has had describing her feelings for both brothers) that show her "feelings" for Stefan were manufactured through lies and manipulations in a time when she was emotionally vulnerable while her feelings for Damon sprang over time from genuine connection and bonding, which is why her genuine feelings for Damon magnified yet her manufactured "feelings" for Stefan didnt. The human Elena chose Stefan over a warped and manipulated sense of obligation and "feelings of love" that spawned from a desperate need for a an emotional life raft to keep from drowning in grief! Uh, duh, Hailey is the hottest woman in this show, her leaving for the originals was a mercy to all the other women she hella overshadowed!

"I don't want to be a vampire Stefan, I never wanted to be one" and "but I don't want it to get easier, I can't live like this. I'm becoming someone I don't want to be. I don't think I can survive this". I don't blame Stefan for wanting to cure her. Everyone always makes Stefan out to be a horrible person for trying to do what's right and help her. It's so weird. Damon has done FAR WORSE to Elena and her loved ones and people still love and praise Damon.

Also, how is Chris’s death Elena’s fault? He betrayed Klaus, and Klaus gave Jeremy the go-ahead to kill him. The Elena hate is getting kinda retarded, you would think she’s Cersei from Game of Thrones the way you talk about her. And saying Elena was making Caroline the bad guy when Caroline was dissing elena for liking Damon WHILE she herself is out on a date with Klaus, the show's worst killer LMAO.
