2025-10-23 04:38:20 +0000 UTCUgh. This was good until the end. I know, probably an unpopular opinion. But I can't wait for the Elijah/Hayley thing to be over. I can't wait for the "miracle baby" drama to be over. This show has such flashes of brilliance, that it feels like it slogs through these melodramatic bits (and I *hate* pregnancy/miracle baby tropes with a fiery, burning passion). I've not watched the series before now, so I'm trying to be patient and hoping that it pays off. I'm far more invested in the Klaus/Marcellus tensions, the supernatural factions at war, and what will happen for Cami in the future. I really, really DGAF about the ridiculous romance that's apparently supposed to be epic judging by the music, or about the baby stuff. Please tell me my patience will be rewarded in the coming seasons. I'm finding it difficult to be motivated to watch. Marcellus is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters of this series, so more of that, please.
