UNEDITED EXCLUSIVE: Doctor Who Season 12 Episode 9 REACTION!

Hi, hello, I know I'm a month late but I would just like to say that I think this is the scariest the Cybermen have ever been, and that I(and a lot of fans) have been thinking that Yaz has a thing for the Doctor since like mid season 11, so there's that.

I have not enjoyed an episode more than this since "Fugitive Of The Juddon" Chris has really made S11 a distant and bad tasting memory with S12. I love that The Lone Cyberman is like The Terminator even the music by Segun is similar and the relentless pursuit of his aims is God like. Brilliant episode. "Resolution" gave me hope and S12 has given me belief under Chibbs for S13, it's just such a shame we have reached the finale. I really couldn't say what is going to happen next and how fantastic is that!

This is episode is definitely a two parter and that’s not a bad thing. I personally felt confused, scared, and excited at the end of the it and that’s what you want from Doctor Who. It’s also peak 13. We’ve seen her spiral into the darkness all season long and I think we are at her breaking point. I’m so glad we had series 11 where she could be happy and full of life because I think we (the Doctor and the viewers) needed that before the show breaks her

I kinda like this episode? Had me at the edge of my sit tbh, even with the non-answered questions like, who the hell is Brendan? And are we getting more about Ruth!Doctor in the second part? (Also where is Jack??). I don't know if you've watched it but this episode kinda reminds me a bit of the German netflix series 'Dark' in some ways lol esp the part where they went back and forth with Brendan's story and the Doctor's. BUT THE MASTER IS BACK AGAIN! Can't wait for the finale!

Not sure how to feel about this episode. It's basically building up the second part. I need to see next week before I can properly review this as a whole. I will say that I'm intrigued with the Brendan story. I liked 13 snapping at the companions again and I like that Yaz and Graham were more proactive but I agree that it did feel rather sporadic. There's a lot of confusion and set up so I can't really say much about this until the finale airs.

IDK what you think about the end of this episode, But with what the master and also just the publicity for this finale are saying it seems like something crazy is going to happen next episode that changes how we look at the show. Now, what if these humans who went through the portal thing went to Gallifrey before Gallifrey was home to the time lords. So these humans settled and advanced over thousands of years they evolved into what we know as the time lords. A bit far fetched but I also think there is some kind of facts to back this up. We know that time lords became what they are from exposure to the time vortex and rift that is on Gallifrey. I'm curious what you guys kind of think of that

Oooooweeeee! What an episode. How haven't Brendan's foster Dad and that police officer aged?!?!? Zero questions have been answered in regards to anything and this episode makes everything more confusing. How are they gonna wrap this one up? And btw the next episode is 65 minutes long.

I dunno if it was just me but didnt the lone cyberman say they rejected him for upgrade? so i got the impression he was self upgraded some twisted human wanting to become a cyberman and revive the cybermen after they got beat.... Though revival? the cybermen were almost wiped out? They had a ship full of millions of pristine cybermen lol

I dunno something about 13s run not sure if its the music or the lack of feeling connected to most of the cast but the action scenes dont feel suspenseful to me at all. Yas new founded character development seems forced and too little too late. I find myself hoping everytime they split up from the doctor they just get killed off. I love Graham but I feel they are going to have a cancer awareness episode and his cancer will come back not sure if they will have him die to it but ryan will leave to be with him. 13s run seems to be all about raising awareness on serious topics but they do it in a horrible way

I was kinda surprised at you calling this "just fine" when it's had a fantastic response elsewhere. However, I think your enjoyment of this episode in particular would have been enhanced by being a part of the fandom on social media etc, exploring the various theories and hints which would have made the Brendan scenes a lot more exciting. A few other reactors that go into Who stone-cold without being a part of any of the fan discussion also found this episode just okay. Maybe now you've caught up it wouldn't harm you to start watching the show like most fans do, including looking at the 'Next Time' trailer as for me that's all part of the experience of being a fan. It's all a part of the hype!
