I agree with ya. Arthur actually thanking Merlin was a great moment for me. I love humour used in drama. But I appreciated the toned down approach that we have been getting of late. Most of the time it's use doesn't work for me personally in this particular show. The Princess didn't turn out to be a spy, troll or other macguffin. Hopefully that particular wheel is permanently broken. Hopeful for more great episodes. ππ»

2022-01-26 22:28:32 +0000 UTCIβm pretty sure the whole Guinevere betrayal thing is from the original Arthurian legends. So I really like how here itβs from enchantment but they donβt find out. Means we can follow the original source material and have the consequences but not have Gwen become any less likeable as itβs not really her fault. Thatβs so smart. And yeah the camera/colour grading/sound quality all seem to have a boost here.
