Circle of the Hive Druid

Druids within the Circle of the Hive understand that what is good for the hive is good for the individual, and as both the hive and the individual these things are fantastic for you. Druids of the Hive possess a special ability to split their druidic magic into a swarm of small creatures, acting like a literal hive mind.

Circle Spells - Your link to various pollinators and their hives grant you access to a number of spells to help your hivemates and hinder those who would bring them harm.

At 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level you gain access to the spells listed for that level in the Circle of the Hive Spells table. Once you gain access to one of these spells, you always have it prepared, and it doesn't count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. If you gain access to a spell that doesn't appear on the druid spell list, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you.

2nd Infestation

3rd Levitate, Melf’s Acid Arrow

5th Fly, Hypnotic Pattern

7th Giant Insect, Otiluke’s Resilient Sphere

9th  Circle of Power, Insect Plague

Swarm Shape - At 2nd level, after joining this Circle, you have learned to split your body and consciousness across hundreds of tiny forms. When using your Wildshape ability, you are able to shift into a swarm of stinging bees (stat block below). While in this form, the individual creatures that make up the swarm must stay within 5ft of each other or you automatically revert to your original form.

Swarm. The swarm can occupy another creature's space and vice versa, and the swarm can move through any opening large enough for a Tiny insect.

Actions

Stings. Melee Weapon Attack: 2 + PB to hit, reach 0 ft., all targets in the swarm's space. Hit: 12 (4d4+2) piercing damage, or 7 (2d4+2) piercing damage if the swarm has half of its hit points or fewer.

Envenomed Stings - At 6th level you have learned to increase the toxicity of the venom in your swarms stings. On successfully attacking a creature while in your Swarm Shape, that creature must make a Constitution saving throw against your Spell Save DC. On a failure the creature takes 10 (3d6) Poison damage and is Poisoned (they may repeat the saving throw at the end of their turn to overcome the poison). On a successful save they take half as much damage and are not poisoned. The damage for this feature increases to 14 (4d6) at level 10, 17 (5d6) at level 14, and 21 (6d6) at level 18.

Warding Wings - Upon reaching 6th level, you have learned to use your swarm to protect your allies from some level of danger. While occupying the space of an ally, if that ally is targeted with an attack or damage dealing spell, you may use your Reaction to split the damage evenly between yourself and your ally.

Heal the Hive - On reaching 10th level, as you have learned to create potent venom to disable your foes, you have also learned to transmute that venom into a healing cure for your allies. While occupying the same space as an ally, you may use a Bonus Action to expend one spell slot to cause that ally to regain hit points equal to 1d4 + your spellcasting modifier. When you activate this ability using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the Healing increases by 1d4 for each slot level above 1st.

Might of the Many -  Starting at 14th level, you have learned to increase the size of your swarm to Large. When making a Stings attack, this attack hits all enemies within the swarm’s space.

Hive Mind - At level 14, you may expend 1 use of your Wildshape ability to split your mind, rather than your body. This allows you to cast a second Concentration spell while already concentrating on a first spell. This second spell must come from your Circle Spells spell list. While concentrating on two spells in this fashion you make Concentration checks with Disadvantage. Failing one of these checks causes you to lose Concentration on both spells.
