Patreon Exclusive Recommendations!
Added 2024-07-19 17:03:28 +0000 UTCOk folks since we are in the final season of Steven Universe, and yes I know there's still a movie and a limited series, but it's time to start planning for the next exclusive show.
Feel free to recommend whatever you want, and I'll look through everything and pick the shows that would interest me the most. It can be animated, anime, or live action. I have watched a lot of TV in my lifetime, so do know there will be some shows I have seen already. The poll will most likely be 6 selections, so it is limited on what I decide will be added to the poll. And all three tiers will be able to vote.
I'll throw one show into the ring, and I'm not saying my selection is a guarantee to be on the poll because you all could recommend something more interesting, but my recommendation is Regular Show.
So yeah please comment with your recommendations, and don't be afraid to like each others comments if you see something you like from another Patron. Feel free to ask me questions and I'll try to answer when I can. Thanks everyone!

I've been debating recommending this for days, but figured I'd give it a shot. I'm on the fence about suggesting it for two reasons. First, as far as I know it's only available on Apple TV. Second, it's been nearly two decades since I've seen it, so I'm not positive it holds up as well as my memory of it. Anyway, the show is an old Cartoon Network Toonami one called Megas XLR. It's about two slackers from New Jersey, a girl from the future, and the giant mech robot they're nominally protecting from alien invaders from the future. There are some decent versions of the intro and badly edited versions of some episodes on YouTube last I checked, if you want to get an idea of what it's like.

2024-07-20 07:35:25 +0000 UTCI was tempted to recommend My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, but then i remembered that these are suggestions for Patreon-exclusive... so im gonna hold on to it for now since it would be a waste to not upload reactions of Friendship is Magic on Youtube, since i've noticed that in the last couple of years... new people getting into my little pony for the first time get a considerable amount of traction. So instead im gonna recommend Craig of the Creek as the new Patreon-exclusive show after Steven Universe. And it's a natural choice in my opinion since Craig of the Creek was created by Matt Burnett (alongside Ben Levin) who was one of the main writters of Steven Universe during it's first 2 seasons. I also wanna suggest that you continue your She-ra reactions as a Patreon-exclusive, but either way my primary suggestion is Craig of the Creek.

2024-07-20 02:53:13 +0000 UTCRegular Show is basically the best in-between of Smiling Friends and Gumball. Other choices could be Dragon Prince, RWBY, or BoJack Horseman. Fair warning though, BoJack is very fucked up and you need to be pretty head strong to get through some parts of it.

2024-07-20 02:23:14 +0000 UTCIn terms of anime, Mob Psycho 100 or Jojo's Bizarre Adventure would probably be really good fits for the kinds of shows you like, and are genuinely amazing shows in their own right. In terms of cartoons Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated is quite good, I would love to see you watch the rest of the show.

2024-07-19 22:34:59 +0000 UTCWell I am going to list some of the obvious ones that we talked about a while ago including My Hero Academia, Black Clover, and Hunter x Hunter. You could also quickly finish Chainsaw Man and Violet Evergarden. I saw someone recommend Frieren and I really like this choice. It’s pretty short and has a very different vibe from a lot of other shows it would probably surprise you a bit. And while it’s probably too long of a show to consider, Fairytail is probably my favourite anime if I had to pick one so definitely recommend checking it out in some capacity. It’s just a really fun time.

It's basically an adult cartoon by rooster teeth about 3 trouble making kids and their weird experience at a summer camp that is a big scam. I swear it was my obsession back then 😭

2024-07-19 20:29:02 +0000 UTCI remember very well that you once did a reaction to the "Violet evergarden" series, but you didn't continue with the series, it would be a good opportunity to take it up again. Violet Evergarden is a very beautiful series and at the same time very short, it has one season of 12 episodes, one OVA and two movies. If you prefer to watch something different, you can watch Frieren beyond the journey's end. Another series that is super good.

2024-07-19 19:37:02 +0000 UTCI'm always gonna plug Revolutionary Girl Utena. Highly influential 90s anime. It was a huge influence on Steven Universe among other shows. Lots of juicy stuff to analyze in it as well.

(or if you've already seen it, Mob Psycho 100)
