yeah, Toei Animation is doing great recently but a couple years back they were going nuts with the filler and padding. It is understandable to some extent because they don't want to catch up to the manga, but still..... it is really annoying when it happens, and it all began here in Skypea.

Skypea is one of the most lore arcs filled in one piece but also the most slow paced.. people hated this arc because of it but it's ine of the most influential arcs that didn't get it's deserved paced showing. One of the best arcs imo, but slowed down because of time/manga restrictions..

2024-08-18 04:14:08 +0000 UTCOne thing I love about Luffy, is that he may act like a fool, naive and childish, but he knows how to read people, he can quickly tell there's something wrong with them, but he doesn't pry into it, he let's them be until they can be honest, or until when it's necessary he does say/does something so that they can express themselves, best example was here with Conis or back in Alabasta when he fought Vivi.

2024-08-18 00:21:39 +0000 UTCOh, if you think THIS is slow pacing, you are not prepared for later on. There's a reason a good portion of fans switched to the manga after a certain point. Your patience shall be rewarded though. Also, I question Luffy's taste. That crow boat looks awesome.
