The dream sequences of these 2 episodes could be interpreted in many ways, i have seen some very good videos of people trying to decipher what the writters were going for. Lemongrab just calls his Fortress "Totalitarian" so.... yeah..... there's no second-guessing what are they trying to convey here xddd. Finn is 15 years old, so it makes sense that he sometimes gets classes by Bubblegum given that he mostly likely never even got proper education. He was simply raised by Joshua and Margaret and then he grew up to become an Adventurer alongside Jake. "But that attitude is Unacceptable" oooooooohhh Bubblegum, you slipped pretty hard right there. A Pirate Ship sailing on a Sea of Sand, i could see this being some kind of small reference to Dune or maybe even that scene on Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End when they go to the afterlife to get Jack back.
