Also, I think I'm getting worse. At least Siphon took place over like 5 days. This one has taken place over like 5 hours. Aaaaaaaaand I still don't know what to call it. I know Mystic Mage is going to be the series title, but I still have no idea what the book 1 title is going to be. Or what I want on the cover. Yaaaaaaaaaay. Gotta figure that out, and soon... Otherwise it's just going to end up being Elysium by default. >.<

Yeah, I fixed that in my master sheet, but hadn't done so in the individual chapters. But it did go away in that first wave. To clarify, it's 30 minutes of retaliation after being hit, 2 hours to go away if you're just sitting in the wilderness, clearing monsters helps. Yes, group kills work to clear it, it's just that if multiple people have red names, the kill redemption gets split.

2021-02-16 07:38:36 +0000 UTCPretty sure it was 30 minutes to go away, or faster if you are killing mobs. Plus she did kill the vast majority of the spiders, they rest of the group got some kills but considering every shot waas 22 spiders at a time while the others could get maybe 1-7 in the same time frame. And she had 9 shots after killing Zayne, and since it is stated that her name turned red before the 20 other bolts from that shot hit Zayne that means 20 + (8*22) + (1 to 22) means she killed 176-197 spiders immediately afterwards. Since there had to be atleast 1 spider left for her to have made the ninth shot. I would be extremely surprised if you neeeded more kills than maybe 180 kills to completely clear the red tag (putting you at 10 seconds of reduction per mob kill) which means even at the most skeptical number she would only have had 40 seconds of red tag left. Plus with the mini games it probably takes ~20s minimum to clear a corpse, given that 3 of them clearing corpses (and grabbing herbs along the way) she got probably at worst 1/3rd of them, probably more since the other two would be slower without the practice she has from previous life. that still gives you ~60(corpses)*~20s or ~20 minutes so no matter what by the time the bodies from Zayne's train where cleaned up her tag would have been gone.
