Update on all the things!

First off, I want to say sorry. I feel so guilty that I haven't shared anything here. The problem with editing is that it isn't new content, so while I've been writing and changing things, it's not really the stuff I share here, and that kills me a little bit.
As far as Clover City is concerned, it is complete! My narrator, Ellen, is currently recording and has to have it to me by July 15th, so as long as there are no issues to fix, I will release it to direct sale on a website shortly after that. As my patrons, you'll get a free ebook copy a few days before anyone else sees it. It'll be direct sales for a few weeks, and then go up on Amazon and Audible. The final wordcount was 117k, so there's about 20k more content than you saw here, and I'm super excited about it!
As of right now, what I'm working on is doing an edit on Siphon, Adapt, and Sense that we'll put out in and omnibus ebook form only. However, because I haven't given you guys anything in a while, I decided to give you access to the newly edited Siphon. The word count actually went down, but I feel so much better having done this edit. There's not much new content, a few sentences and fixes here and there, but I've eliminated the echo words and passive voice that were driving me crazy. It's still the same book you know and love, just...slightly better now. For my own sanity, this has been totally worth it.
So yeah, that's where we're at. I'm editing Adapt right now, making notes on all the things Jade wanted to do from the beginning so I can hopefully address some of those in book 5! If you have anything you're specifically looking forward to in Domain, let me know. (No promises, but I'll keep it in mind.)

So I just realized how min-maxed, my last comment was. Which is weird because like my one feedback was the serious seems to just keep getting darker and darker, and I'd like Jade to have some more lighter moments. So some fun suggestions: 1) Jade needs another singing moment, because I love Samara Naeymi doing them. 2) Jade resolves a diplomatic situation by winning a dessert eating contest. 3) Jade tries to cook again, casualties only narrowly averted. 4) Jade encounters giant sea monster, teachs it to play fetch. 5) Jade has to do something stealthy, is Entertainingly bad at it.

2023-07-10 18:49:24 +0000 UTCSo, some of the things that I really think jade should do: 1) Switch to siphoning during the day so that she can use solar power to draw in more power. Morning guard formations should have everyone going on or coming off shift touch her. 2) Get a lession in Summoning Magic finally. Also private tutoring for Flails, Crossbows, Dual Wielding and also start learning Medium , heavy armor and anyother combat skills not . Maybe at night when she can't recharge. 3) Get Jade a secretary to help manage her schedule and Arrange for Master crafter to gather for Jade to siphon. Shoemakers, brewmasters and any skill she doesn't have first. 4) Establish connections with merchants that travel the trade network, and offer bounties for new specises of monster that she can use her siphon on. (or if that isn't possible, dried meat which jade should have also) 5) Healing crippled former gaurds so that they can fight again. 6) Get Stephen to get Spy/combat training for Jessica and Kaylee. 7) Collect bards and syphon there charisma 8) Find out what is in the restricted sections of the libraries.
