The weeb community has been having the debate about underage characters for a very long time, and even though I haven't seen Euphoria I can tell that the debate over sexualizing characters that are supposed to be minors narratively is the same that some people are having about My Hero Academia for instance. And I'd argue the same thing: fuck in-universe age, it's the physical age that counts. In the same way that it's unacceptable to draw a child having sex and then tell "but shes 9000 years old so it doesn't count as pedophilia", you can't draw (or here cast) characters in their twenties, sexualize them and then tell "but they're minors in the story". It doesn't work for lolis, and it doesn't work for this.
