At this point, Black Mirror is a show that needs no introduction. But this year, the 6th installment of episodes were released, and well, it’s impossible to ignore how different the series feels now.
It's more focused on the past, and some episodes don't contain any dark tech at all.
While this feels like a radical departure for the show, I don’t think it actually is. That’s because for all the tech-dystopian futures Black Mirror imagines, it’s never been just about our growing dependence on technology.
It's also been about media.
