How The Supreme Court rubberstamps convictions - Conversation w/ Rhiannon Hamam (5-4 Podcast)

I forgot to intro Rhiannon Hamam in the video because I'm a fake podcaster :(

Rhiannon is one of the hosts of 5-4, a podcast about how much The Supreme Court sucks. She has a tremendous amount of knowledge about the history of the court and the application of their rulings from her experience as a criminal public defender. We talk about some major Supreme Court cases that have hollowed out some of our most fundamental rights.

An addition to Brady and needing to dig into the jury's mind, one thing I've seen is that a case being weak to begin with making it harder to overturn the conviction because the judge says that obviously the jury didn't really believe a dubious part of the state's theory, so disproving that part wouldn't have changed the result.
