I recently started rewatching the cop show Castle. I haven't seen it in years, and watching it now that I'm older and more informed, a lot of elements are standing out that you talk about in your Copaganda series. One thing in particular is how judgmental the detectives are of pretty much everyone they encounter. They make snide and critical comments about everyone from the criminals (of course) to the people they interview to even sometimes the victims. Anything that's slightly deviant or out of the ordinary, they make sure you as the viewer know. So my questions are: 1. Is this common in cop shows? (I don't really watch any other ones.) 2. Why do you think they do this? Is it to establish moral superiority and/or social control? Would love to hear your thoughts!

This week everyone seems to be talking about the Abbot Elementary/It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia crossover episode. Though I haven't watched either show (other than a few episodes of It's Always Sunny -- appreciate the humor but just couldn't get into it), it sounds like it was a banger. What do you think?

1. What are the episodes of TV that have made you laugh the hardest? 2. I'm curious about how working on the Jon stewart videos has made you reflect on your own role as a youtuber/commentator. Obviously you have a smaller platform and are no where near as famous but you still have an audience and people view you as the "copaganda guy." What do you think afe as your key responsibilities and what do you try to be cautious of? Edit: finally started Watchung the new Jon Stewart vid. Great job. Really great analysis. One if your best vids IMO.

Band of brothers: thoughtful reflection on the lived experience of war, or sentimental celebration of warmongering? Or something else

Is there any show or movie on which your opinion completely flipped over the years? Something you found awful at first but great now on second viewing, or something that did not hold the test of time at all?

That One French Guy

Hello again, still planning to work on the 100 Most Acclaimed TV Episodes metalist (list made out of lists) along with finishing it by December 2026 [been dealing with mental health issues and personal frustrations], and will be accounting for your 5 Best TV Episodes of 2024 list if and hopefully it comes out, my question is, if you had do a 33 1/3rd style deep-dive (33 1/3 being for music) into a single TV episode, what would it be? PS: After accounting for your top 5, for 2024, I will be heading into quitting the subscription. Also, sorry about your cold.

I was surprised to not see The Penguin in your list of best shows of 2024 that you sent recently I haven't finished it myself but it surprisesd me given how many people I have seen saying it was among the best of the year. I was just wondering if you just didn't like it that much or was it something else?
