Morning everybody!

I want to address a question I get asked a lot:

Will I be reopening commissions?

The answer is no. I have no current or future plans to reopen commissions.

They are extremely taxing on both my mental and physical health. While I can't predict my financial situation a year from now, as of right now, I have no incentive to open commissions again.

This information is readily available on my account under the bio section.

There’s a large banner that says “Commissions Closed” and a more detailed explanation in my FAQs.

I respectfully ask that you check those resources before messaging me.

It is not MY responsibility to remind you whether my commissions are opened or closed.

I’ve been subjected to many degrading and abusive messages, I've been called a cunt, a stupid slut, and MANY other slurs for simply having commissions closed or for pointing people toward information that is publicly available.

I am a human being.

I create content because it provides me with a creative outlet and helps support my family. But that does not give anyone the right to speak to me in a dehumanizing or entitled way.

Too often, my rules have not been respected. The emotional and physical effort required is simply not worth it, especially when some individuals treat access to my time as permission to disrespect me.

While I'm speaking hyperbolical and the large majority of my commissioners have been kind and understanding, the behaviour of a vocal minority, those who treat commissioning me like ownership, has made continuing unsustainable.

If you cannot be bothered to read that, then I'm positive you won't read my rules and restrictions either.

Please remember that I am a real person with a life beyond this screen. I’m not here to serve your parasocial fantasies, I am not a doll or a product.

I’m a creator, and I deserve to be treated with basic respect.
