Lucifer S4 Episode 2 Reaction

Comments

I usually have to record a few weeks ahead to be able to keep up with all the shows so there can be a bit of a delay between me knowing certain information based on your comments! But I read it all so thanks for informing me about the voice of God in the final S3 episode! :)

Your intro made me smile, I had forgotten how it was to speculate about what's going to happen in the show. Like Celia said, and I think I mentioned it too in a previous comment, it was Neil Gaiman who was the voice of God. I wont say much more about him and you'll learn what's up with him soon enough but I'll go with a half spoiler: Father Kinley is not God. I normally don't spoil but I feel that this hypothesis needs to get out of the way to make make future speculation easier A couple of random comments: At some point you said about Chloe "she's going to spill more" . I bet you didn't suspect how right you were considering that a few scenes later she actually literally spilled Lucifer's wine glass. I thought this was funny. Lucifer in the photos with the Nazis, there's no real story there, they don't really revisit it, well not directly and not immediately. He probably was there just for the chaos and to have a good time taking a break from Hell. I don't know if you know this but the women in the coffee shop when Amenadiel asked "what are you writing?" is Ildy Modrovich, one of the show runners. I like how they often give cameos to some of the behind camera people. Linda's pregnancy: they broke up at the end of episode 3x15 so we could say a few weeks before the finale of season 3 and there's a month between the two seasons so timing wise it works. Now how is it possible for an angel and a human to create a baby? that's a totally different question that the show will answer. On to the next episode ... where things get even more complicated ...

Interesting reaction Robin, and the plot thickens... It was Neil Gaiman as the voice of God in episode 26 of season three.I think quite a few of us have commented on this if you have time in between all the reactions you are doing for us to look back at all the comments. He was a special one-off guest star (voice over) it was somewhat meta as Neil Gaiman was the writer and instigator of the comic book series on which this show of Lucifer is loosely based... so kind of fun but nothing to do with Graham Mctavish who is Father Kinley. You will get your answers to your thoughts and ideas and quicker than we have been used to as there are only ten episodes to tell the whole story.
