Lucifer S3 Episode 24 Reaction

Comments

I also have been waiting for the reaction to this episode. The avenging angel sequence crashing through the window was amazing! Chloe now knows the truth- how will she handle it? Roll on season 4 and the Netflix era! I can't wait for the reactions. I am actually feeling excited about it which says a lot for this Show as I must have rewatched it with every Patreon reactor/s that have covered it over the years and yet I still really enjoy rewatching with someone seeing it all for the very first time and remembering my own questions, theories and emotions unfold - wonderful and great fun!

Great breakdown of the episode.

I was so looking forward to see your reaction to this episode, especially to the wings scenes in the loft. Those scenes were EPIC! The company who did the CGI did a panel on how they did the wings for this show. It was a very nerdy 2 hours video but fascinating how it took months of hard work and creative thinking to get all the details right for a few minutes of final product. Anyhow.... a few comments about the episode (as they came to mind while watching) Charlotte's arc is definitively over. There's nothing left for her character's story to add to Lucifer's journey. At the beginning, Pierce didn't run away because it would have immediately flagged him as a suspect for Charlotte's murder. He thought he was connected enough to get away with it. Dan figured out that Pierce was the Sinnerman and most likely the murderer not by just looking at the photos, there were investigative notes in the file. Chloe was was wearing a bullet proof vest in the loft. That's the navy "undershirt" they showed when Lucifer was checking her on the roof and that explains why she passed out when Pierce shot her but wasn't otherwise injured from that shot. Cain's mark never returned. Granted they never specifically said it nor did they show his arm but a lot of the dialogue implied it. For example, when Pierce told his guy "you've never seen me afraid of dying before". All in all, one of the best episodes in the whole series for me. And with that cliff hanger, I still can't believe that FOX decided to cancel the show after that. I'm glad they did though because the Netflix seasons gave the production a bit more creative license and definitely more budget and it showed. If you're going to react to episodes 25 and 26, remember they have NOTHING to do with the main story. They were already filmed when the show was cancelled so FOX had decided to air them as bonus episodes. 25 is interesting because it gives us more insight into Ella and introduces a character we've heard about and will see again in season 5. 26 is an alternate universe episode, fun and entertaining.
