Okay, I admired Meadow for quietly and privately doing the right thing at the end: cleaning up the disgusting mess at her grandmotherโs house. Why admire her? Because she had gotten away with the mess, nobody was making her do it, and even though she bragged to her friend about not being punished, she still listened to her own conscience. She could have scored points with her parents by volunteering to do it, but that wasnโt her goal. She just wanted to fix the problem she had caused.
I like these kids. Love watching them grow up on the show. Seeing how the pampered offspring of a killer learn to navigate that world, struggle with who he really is, added a layer of depth to the show.

I donโt think Dr Melfi is in love with Tony. I think sheโs fascinated by him, has some misplaced pity and is also afraid of him. The song she hears in her dream of his death? โYouโre out of the woods, youโre out of the dark.โ Because his death would relieve the guilt she feels over refusing to continue treating him.

They parent from a place of unimaginable guilt. Their kids are now at an age where they understand (barely) that their father does murders as a routine part of his job, and that their mother turns a blind eye. The parents, especially Carmela who is religious, know theyโve given the kids material security at the expense of real security and respectability, so they shower them with gifts and privileges in an attempt to make it up to them.

I forgot how much I hate Tony's kids, at least in the first few seasons. Janice is just hopeless.

I guess if you do yoga, supple is a compliment. Maybe?

Letting her dictate her own punishment, was always wild to me.

PBD just had a sit down on YT with John Gotti Jr. it was a good one and highly recommended.
Side note. Iโve lost count how many times Iโve watched this from beginning to end. Youโd think Iโd build up a tolerance for Tonyโs kids. ๐ They drive me INSANE. And I consistently wanna toss his sister out a window.
