Added 2022-04-15 18:23:57 +0000 UTCWhat If We Were Both Girls and We Kissed (In Minecraft) is now fully up on scribblehub! I wouldn't normally send a whole patreon update for that, but I wanted to note that I did a minor bit of rewriting to add to the ending.
A few of y'all who left me comments on the original were correct in that I still didn't entirely close the loop on the whole apology thread. I couldn't figure out how to fit that into the second chapter without stepping on the big reveal moment, but I kept turning the problem over and over in my head throughout the past several days. Ultimately, even though I'm worried that the ending leans too hard on chunks of exposition, I went ahead and redid part of it to add in a few more paragraphs of reflection and context. Oops. If I was a bit more clever and ambitious, I would try to do all this more naturally and through showing rather than telling, but for this story I think it still works well enough for my purposes. It's not that big of an addition, but I hope this fills Allie and Ashleigh out slightly more as characters and gives a bit more closure to an important aspect of their relationship.
