Ch. 329 Fusion of Hell Authority

Hell.

City of Sin.

Unknowingly, another month had passed.

After a month of attempts, Russell finally gave up on the idea of embedding the Hell Authority into the Sun Divine Power.

Although the Sun Divine Power was a power he awakened on his own, it was evident that he couldn't violate the essence of the Sun Divine Power even though it was his own power.

Unless he wanted to completely discard the authority on the Sun Divine Power, he had to accept this reality.

Since he couldn't embed the Hell Authority into the Sun Divine Power, he had to settle for the Thunder Divine Power.

Although the Thunder Divine Power was also his divine power, unlike the Sun Divine Power, it wasn't awakened by himself but rather a reward from the system.

Compared to the Sun Divine Power, the Thunder Divine Power was slightly less powerful and came in smaller quantities.

However, now Russell could only consider embedding the Hell Authority into the Thunder Divine Power.

Even though he had a considerable amount of Hell Power within him, he had no intention of converting it into demonic power.

He didn't want to become like Mephisto.

Compared to being a demon, he preferred his current human identity.

If he converted the Hell Power into demonic power, his body would transform into a demon under the influence of demonic power.

This was not the outcome he desired.

And there was another significant reason.

If he turned into a true demon, he would have to abandon his plan to establish a divine realm and ascend to the level of a Skyfather.

A demon couldn't establish divine realms.

After becoming a Demon, the only path for him to reach the level of a Skyfather would be the path Mephisto had once taken.

If he really did that, he wouldn't need to return to Earth in the future.

The Ancient One would never allow a Demon lord to come to Earth, even if that Demon lord was her student.

While the Ancient One valued Russell greatly, she also had her principles.

More importantly, Russell had no intention of challenging the Ancient One's bottom line.

Though becoming a true Demon would allow him to easily ascend to the level of a Skyfathers, there were distinctions of strength even among Skyfathers.

To illustrate, among Skyfathers, Odin and the Ancient One occupied the highest positions.

Below them were normal Skyfathers like Mephisto.

Further down, it was probably the position where Vanir God-King, Njord, was located.

So even if Russell ascended to the level of a Skyfathers, he wouldn't be a match for the Ancient One and Odin in the short term.

Unless he could further gain the favor of Hell's Will and obtain more Hell Authority.

Otherwise, he would have to stay at the level of a Skyfather for a long time, at least, to have a chance of reaching the level where the Ancient One and Odin were.

Of course, there was a simpler method.

That would be the system's advanced rewards.

As long as the system casually granted him one of the high-level rewards like Power of Odin, Dark Doctor Strange, or Infinity Ultron, he would immediately become the ceiling of a Skyfather.

If he fully digested these rewards and became a cosmic being-level and universe-level entity, that wouldn't be a problem either.

However, for such matters, he could only think about them in his mind for now.

As his strength continued to increase, the rewards given by the system had become fewer and fewer.

The last time the system gave a reward was when he had just arrived in Asgard.

After setting aside these delightful thoughts, he began to consider the feasibility of embedding the Hell Authority into the Thunder Divine Power.

In this year and a half, although he hadn't succeeded in embedding the Hell Authority into the Sun Divine Power, he gained a lot of experience.

More importantly, since he obtained the Thunder Divine Power, he hadn't added any authority to it.

In simpler terms, the Thunder Divine Power was like an empty box now, with enough space for him to place the Hell Authority.

Although the Hell Authority didn't quite match the Thunder Divine Power, it was still better than the Sun Divine Power that naturally rejected the Hell Authority.

After considering the feasibility, Russell didn't waste any time and came to the training room of the City Lord's Mansion to start embedding the Hell Authority into the Thunder Divine Power.

With the experience of awakening the Sun Divine Power authority and various attempts in the past six months, Russell quickly understood which authorities could potentially awaken within the Thunder Divine Power.

After figuring out the potential authorities that could awaken within the Thunder Divine Power, he separately extracted the slaughter authority from the Divine Power Island.

The Slaughter Authority had a reasonable compatibility with the Thunder Divine Power.

After all, the Thunder Divine Power didn't seem like a power that could provide warmth or healing effects.

Although the Thunder Divine Power wasn't a power born solely for slaughter, there was no doubt that it had a facet of slaughter.

So, he decided to try first with the slaughter authority from his Hell Authority, which wasn't a significant share and had relatively good compatibility with the Thunder Divine Power.

Russell, although he hadn't ascended to the level of a Skyfather yet, could undoubtedly be considered one of the top in terms of understanding divine power and authority among the currently living humans on Earth.

Even his magic teacher, the Ancient One, might not be as proficient in this aspect as he was.

He already possessed two types of divine power, the Sun and Thunder Divine Powers.

Moreover, he had spent over half a year in Hell, specifically studying how to embed the Hell Authority into the Sun Divine Power.

If he didn't understand divine power and authority even after this, he might as well not consider ascending to a Skyfathers and just return to Earth.

Under his control, the Hell Authority symbolizing slaughter detached from the Divine Power Island.

Then, it slowly floated toward the blood-red Thunder Divine Power that had been extracted.

Perhaps because the Thunder Divine Power naturally possessed the authority of slaughter or perhaps because the Thunder Divine Power had incorporated Demonic's power, the slaughter authority from Hell approached the Thunder Divine Power without a noticeable sense of rejection.

Can it actually be done?

Upon discovering this, Russell revealed a satisfied smile.

Previously, whenever there was a sign of embedding the Hell Authority into the Sun Divine Power, the Sun Divine Power would exhibit strong rejection, as if it were vehemently opposing the Hell Authority like the opposing poles of a magnet.

However, now the Thunder Divine Power showed no signs of rejection. Instead, it displayed a willingness to accept the Slaughter Authority.

In just a few short minutes, Russell successfully embedded the Slaughter Authority into the Thunder Divine Power.

As the Slaughter Authority fused completely with the Thunder Divine Power, his already transformed Thunder Divine Power involuntarily emitted a strong aura of slaughter.

A perfect start!

After confirming the perfect fusion of the Slaughter Authority and the Thunder Divine Power, Russell finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Then, he began to embed the second authority onto the Thunder Divine Power.

This time, he didn't choose a small-scale authority like the Slaughter Authority, but opted for the Death Authority, which occupied a medium position.

Since the Thunder Divine Power could perfectly integrate the Slaughter Authority, it was highly probable that it could also accommodate the Death Authority.

Although the Death Authority he currently possessed was not from Asgard but from Hell, he distinctly remembered that there was a girl in Asgard who had awakened both the Death Authority and the Death Divine Power.

The Goddess of Death, Hela!

Thor's sister!

The Crown Princess of Asgard!

The previous wielder of Mjolnir, the God of Thunder Hammer!

The former executioner of Asgard and the vanguard of Odin's army!

If it weren't for Hela's overwhelming ambitions and extreme belligerence, she wouldn't have been banished by Odin.

If she hadn't been banished, Thor wouldn't have had to consider taking up the throne of Asgard.

Because even if he and Loki joined forces, they would never be a match for Hela.

Of course, if Thor could further awaken and obtain a more powerful Stormbreaker, he would have a chance to confront Hela.

But for now, apart from Odin himself, there was no one in Asgard who could rival Hela.

With the perfect start of embedding the Slaughter Authority, the embedding of the Death Authority also proceeded exceptionally smoothly.

Furthermore, perhaps it was because the Slaughter Authority had further influenced the Thunder Divine Power.

When embedding the Death Authority, Russell noticed that his Thunder Divine Power showed a desire for it.

Just like the Slaughter Authority, the larger portion of the Death Authority was soon embedded into the Thunder Divine Power.

After the Death Authority was incorporated into the Thunder Divine Power, the originally blood-red Thunder Divine Power began to darken.

Simultaneously, it emitted a strong aura of death.

Russell wasn't surprised by this development.

The addition of authorities caused the divine power to exhibit an aura similar to the authority.

If there weren't even such a change, there was only one reason: the added authority was too weak, weak to the point of being negligible.

After successfully embedding the Slaughter and Death Authorities into the Thunder Divine Power, Russell moved on to selecting the next authorities.

He ruled out the small-scale Pestilence and Corruption Authorities first.

Then, he eliminated the medium-scale Pollution and Blood Authorities.

Finally, his gaze shifted back and forth between the large-scale Fear and the small-scale Despair Authorities.

After some not very meticulous deliberation, he decided to use the large-scale Fear Authority as the third embedded authority.

In the modern, technologically advanced society, the fear that lightning could instill was relatively small.

However, in the medieval and ancient eras when technology was less advanced, people had an instinctual fear of lightning.

At that time, humans were not only afraid of lightning but also of beasts and flames.

Having made his decision, Russell didn't waste any time and directly extracted the Fear Authority from the Divine Power Island.

Then, he began to control the fusion of the Fear Authority and the Thunder Divine Power.

Perhaps he was just lucky today, or it could be because the Slaughter and Death Authorities had made the Thunder Divine Power more adaptable to Hell's authorities.

The fusion of the Fear Authority went even more smoothly than Russell had imagined.

It took far less time to embed the Fear Authority into the Thunder Divine Power compared to when he embedded the three previous authorities.

In fact, it was significantly less time.

Russell spent several days in the training room of the City Lord's Mansion before successfully embedding the Fear Authority into the Thunder Divine Power.

Finally done!

When the Thunder Divine Power and the Fear Authority were completely fused, Russell finally breathed a sigh of relief.
